About us
St. Andrews Pipes & Drums, Mississauga is a family friendly, community-based teaching band composed of both experienced players and new students who are committed to promoting Highland Piping and Drumming through continuous learning and public performance.
The band offers quality instruction in Highland Piping, Drumming and Drum Majoring from experienced competition-winning instructors. Members of the band are not required to compete but, many want that challenge and the band helps them prepare for both solo and band contests each year successfully bringing home many trophies and awards.
The band also helps its players learn the skills necessary to play at both private and public performances. The band and its players can also be seen throughout southern Ontario playing at various parades and community events as well as at a host of private for-hire functions such as opening ceremonies, weddings, funerals, birthdays and graduation ceremonies.
