St Andrews Pipes and Drums, Mississauga can provide a band or individual players to help you celebrate or memorialize any special occasion.
Each year the band satisfies many requests from families, businesses, community organizations and communities around southern Ontario to play at their important events.
Families hire the band and band members to play at weddings, milestone birthdays, anniversaries and funerals.
Businesses make requests for store openings and special employee events.
Communities hire the band to celebrate Canada Day, Remembrance Day, Founders Festivals and celebrate Canada's cultural diversity through music.
Rates are based on the amount of time required, any travel costs and the number of players being requested.
All monies earned by the band go to meet band travel expenses, maintain instruments, and to purchase uniforms and other band equipment.
On occasion, the band may elect to perform at minimal to no cost for events consistent with the band's goal of exposing potential young players to this great highland music tradition, or a special cause that the membership feels it would like to support (ie. The Walk for the Cure - breast cancer).
The band welcomes opportunities to showcase its music and students by providing professional quality performances.
