St. Andrews Pipes & Drums, Mississauga is first and foremost a teaching band. We offer quality weekly instruction (at no cost) to help new beginners get started, current players improve and experienced players acquire the skills and confidence necessary for both public performance and, when ready, solo and band competition. All instruction is carefully supervised by knowledgeable, skilled players who have years of experience playing in solo and successful competition-level bands. Additional instruction is also provided by a number of band-sponsored workshops and guest instructors brought in for specialized work with band members.
